Developing Life Skills Beyond the Classroom
At St. Joseph’s School, the Hindustan Scouts and Guides program plays an important role in nurturing discipline, leadership, and social responsibility among students. The program helps students develop essential life skills while encouraging them to become confident, self-reliant, and responsible citizens.
The Hindustan Scouts and Guides movement at St. Joseph’s School focuses on the overall development of students by extending learning beyond classroom education. Students are trained in basic self-defence, first aid, outdoor skills, and community service to help them respond confidently during times of need.
The program encourages exploration, practical learning, and character building while instilling values such as honesty, responsibility, cooperation, and respect for others. Participation in Scouts and Guides helps students grow socially, emotionally, and personally.
